Humbly We Come

Verse 1

Our day to day lives have kept us apart,

Father, we pray come capture our hearts,

Our soul’s true desire is to be more like You,

Heavenly Father we’re searching  for  truth.    

Verse 2

Teach us to grow more deeply in faith,

Let go of our pride, quit playing it safe,

Stop living a lie, turn back to Your grace,

Today we surrender right here in this place.

Humbly we come seeking our salvation,

Kneeling we pray with the hope of generations,

Light of the world, Giver of Peace,

Humbly we come and rest at Your feet.     

Verse 3

Hosanna in the Highest our Savior and King,

Walking in Your Word, the key to everything,

Forgiving the past, moving forward Your way,

Tomorrow’s unsure, but forever’s today.
